UNSINN Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH endeavours to make its website www.unsinn.de accessible without barriers. The legal basis is the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the EU Directive 2019/882 on accessibility requirements for products and services (European Accessibility Act - EAA).
Scope of application
This declaration applies to the website www.unsinn.de, the official online presence of UNSINN Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH with information on our products, in particular our trailer models, accessories, service offers and general company content.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
The website is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, conformance level AA. Many central areas - including navigation, font sizes, text structure, keyboard operability and form functions - have already been tested for accessibility and are largely compliant.
We are constantly developing our web content to ensure the widest possible accessibility for all users.
Status of the declaration
This declaration was created on 24 June 2025. It was based on an internal self-assessment using recognised testing tools such as Accessibility Insights for Web (axe-core 4.10.2) and manual tests.
Existing restrictions
Despite all efforts to ensure accessibility, the following known restrictions currently exist:
- Alternative texts for images: Not all images currently have complete or context-appropriate alternative texts. These gaps will be rectified in the course of editorial quality assurance. Technical measures have been taken to avoid future gaps.
- Video content: Some embedded videos, e.g. via YouTube, are not subtitled or do not contain an audio description. However, this content is optional; we provide additional text descriptions for key information content.
- Colour contrasts: Some design elements are at the lower end of the recommended contrast values and will be adjusted in future design revisions.
- Heading structure: In individual cases, there may be a non-ideal hierarchy of headings (e.g. jump from h2 to h4). These will be improved during editorial revisions.
- PDF documents: Linked PDFs are not always barrier-free. We can provide this content in an accessible format on request.
- Accessory lists on product detail pages: In individual cases - for example when displaying accessories - list elements (<ul>) do not fully comply with WCAG requirements because they contain unsuitable child elements such as <div>. This contradicts WCAG 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships) and will be corrected in an upcoming technical update.
These restrictions do not have a significant effect on the basic usability of the website. We are continuously working on improvements.
